  • 1. What are the rules for placing an ad on horti-trade?

  • 2. How can I register for horti-trade
    • Click on register in the menu on the left.
    • Fill out or the required fields (required fields are marked with a *)
    • Click on continue. You will receive an email with which you can confirm your account.
    • Once you clicked on the link in that email you will be registered for horti-trade.
  • 3. I did not receive an email from horti-trade. How is that possible?
    Software companies take more and more measures to prevent spam emails from being delivered to you. It is possible that our emails ended up in the spam folder of your email account. Please first check this folder.

    If you still have not received our email please contact us directly so that we can manually activate your account or make the necessary adjustments.
  • 4. How can I place an ad?
    • You first have to be registered on horti-trade
    • You need credits to place an ad. Credits are available for €2,50 per credit and can be bought in units 10, 25 en 50 credits. You can acquire credits in your own profile, My horti-trade > Log in > Buy Credits
    • Click on Place ad .
    • Select a category and subcategory and click on Continue.
    • Fill out all the required fields, check the email address and click on Place ad.
  • 5. Why has my ad been deleted?
    horti-trade can delete your ad if you do not comply with the general conditions of the site
  • 6. How long will my ad be visible on horti-trade?
    Your free ad will be visible on horti-trade for 90 days. After 83 days you will receive an email with which you can extent your ad. If you do not respond to that email your ad will automatically be deleted.
  • 7. How can I place a image in an ad?

    1. You can add your image when you place the ad or at any later moment.

    • When you are logged in and you have clicked on Place new ad you should go through all the steps. After filling out the ad content textbox you will be presented with the option to select images.
    • Click on select images
    • Select your image and then click on place new ad. The image will automatically be attached to the ad.

    2. You can also select or change your image after the ad is placed.

    • Go to your personal page on horti-trade. My horti-trade.
    • You will see the ad list. Click on the pen symbol (the middle one) next to the ad.
    You can now make adjustments to the ad. Click on select images and proceed with the steps as indicated in part 1
  • 8. The image I have selected is too big, what should I do?
    Resize your image by using a program like Microsoft Paint, which is included in Windows.

  • 9. How can I delete one of my ads?
    It is very easy to delete an ad.
    • Log in on horti-trade
    • Go to your personal profile. My horti-trade
    • Click on the red cross next to the ad you would like to delete.
    • Your ad has now been deleted and will not be visible anymore on horti-trade

  • 10. How can I adjust an ad?
    • Log in on horti-trade
    • Go to your personal profile My horti-trade
    • Click on the pen symbol (the middle one) next to the ad you would like to adjust.
    • Adjust the ad and click on edit ad.
  • 11. How can I bid on an ad?
    For some ads on horti-trade it is possible to place a bid. This is dependent on the advertiser. The advertiser decided when placing the bid if he or she allows bids.

    When you see an interesting ad for which it is possible to bid then you will see this at the bottom of the ad. You enter your email address and your bid and then you click on place bid. The advertiser will be informed of your bid.

    If it is not possible to place a bid on an ad but you would still like to inform the advertiser that you would like to make an offer then we suggest that you contact the advertiser directly.
  • 12. I responded to an ad but the product has already been sold.
    The advertiser forgot to delete his ads. Please contact horti-trade so that we can delete the ad.
  • 13. Does horti-trade sell my personal details to third parties?
    No, horti-trade will never sell personal information without the written permission and verification of the advertiser.
  • 14. What does horti-trade do with my personal details in case I Break the law?
    horti-trade can inform the authorities without notification of the advertiser in case of a serious breach of the law.
  • 15. How can I set horti-trade as my homepage?
    • Click in your browser on extra and then on "internet-options". Under the heading "General" you will see the option "set homepage".
    • In the address field you type : http//www.horti-trade.com/ and then you can click on "OK", horti-trade is now set as your homepage.
